2002-2003: Returned to UNH in December after transferring to Yale following the 2001-02 season.

2001-02: Recorded 6-7-13 in 34 games for the ‘Cats...Recorded his first collegiate goal Dec. 8 vs. St. Lawrence. ..Finished third on the team in penalty minutes (51).

Before UNH: Caron played for Phillips Exeter Academy from 1998-99 to 2000-01...Posted 92 goals, 70 assists for 162 points in 76 games while at PEA...In 1999, he scored a school-record 39 goals in his sophomore campaign...Was a New England Prep School All-Star in 2001 and guided Phillips Exeter to a New England Prep School championship in 1999...Shared MVP honors at HNIB All-Scholastic Tournament in April 2000 and was selected as “Best Pro Prospect” by HNIB in its 2000 Summer Showcase Tournament.

Personal: Born in Nashua, New Hampshire to Ed and Diana Caron..Business major...Shoots Left

NHL Rights: Was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the 2001 NHL draft (2nd round, pick No. 52)....Caron is the highest UNH player to be drafted since Adrien Plavsic in 1988 by St. Louis.
